1. Basic configuration interface
Configure DHCP service (static IP and dynamic IP) on the basic configuration page.

Set the TCP Client, TCP Server, UDP Client, UDP Server working mode and one-way forwarding serial port channel for the network channel.

JY-TCPCOM-604 serial port server working mode
1. System block diagram
TCPCOM-604 is a bridge that connects serial devices to the network. With this module, users can easily implement device networking management and control functions. The application block diagram is as follows.
Note: For security reasons, by default, the module only accepts data sent from the set target machine IP and set target machine port, and the module only sends data to the set target location.
You can easily control the module settings in real-time to modify the sending target (described later), or you can customize products with special functions, such as not verifying the source IP, to accept data sent by multiple IPs to achieve many-to-one.
2. TCP Client mode
In TCP client mode, after the module is powered on, it actively connects to the TCP server according to its own settings, and then establishes a long connection, and subsequent data is transmitted transparently. In this mode, the IP of the TCP server needs to be visible to the module. Visibility means that the server IP can be directly pinged through the IP of the module. The server can be a fixed IP on the Internet, or an intranet IP in the same LAN as the module. .
3. UDP mode
In UDP mode, after the module is powered on, it listens to the set port and does not actively establish a connection. When data is transmitted from the serial port, it is forwarded to the serial port. When the serial port receives the data, it is sent to the IP and port set by the module through the network.
JY-TCPCOM-604 serial port server application
1. COM port to network mode
This is the most commonly used working mode. One end of the module is connected to the COM port and the other end is connected to the network to achieve conversion between the network and COM. In this mode, the computer needs to write network applications to send and receive data based on sockets.
Users need to have knowledge of network programming.
2. Virtual serial port mode
In virtual serial port mode, users do not need to make any changes to the original system. They only need to install the VSPM software on the computer and make the corresponding settings. After the settings are completed, the remote device will be the same as if it was directly connected to the computer.
There is no need to modify the original application, the application still operates the remote device like a serial port.
3. Server collection mode
The server data collection control mode is one of the most commonly used application modes. Serial servers are distributed in different locations on the network. They uniformly transmit data to the server through the network and receive data from the server. This is one of the most basic models of the Internet of Things.
